Once again, we Cymry
are to 'have our nose rubbed into it' by the English crown and Government and
what makes it even more sick is that the "Sham Assembly" in Bae
Caerdydd had been informed of this intended latest 'insult' on our nation last
year - and had sanctioned it quietly behind closed doors and not informed the
Cymric electorate of the decision!
This latest
'conspiracy' to forge our nation to a weakening English State and monarchy was
revealed yesterday with the announcement that the Welsh Secretary had 'decided'
that the second Severn Bridge is to be renamed and that it was to be called the
Prince of Wales Bridge from this year onwards! Was the Cymric population
consulted to view their opinion on this decision? NO! Alun Cairns made the decision
and it was rubber stamped by Teresa May and the Queen of England and accepted
without a second thought by our quisling "sham" of an Assembly.
So, no change in
tactics to keep us subjected then! In 1536, they foisted an Act of Annexation
on our nation accompanied by repressive laws, neither on which the Cymry were
consulted on or had a say in. In 1911, they foisted an English Prince on Cymru
and announced the foisting of another during the Commonwealth Games which were
held in Caerdydd in 1958 and then foisted the 'Tudor Rag' on us in the
following year, in 1959, so that we "servile Taffs" could get used to
waving their gift of our 'symbol of servility' in good time for the 1969
Investiture. And now, we are expected to
endure this latest 'insult' that has been foisted on us but, WILL WE?
In 1983, Lord
Parry, who figure headed the Welsh Tourist Board at that time, foolishly
'decided' on a 'Festival of Castles' to mark the 700th anniversary of the
'Conquest of Cymru' as a tourism strategy for that year! The movement COFIWN
soon reminded him that we were not 'yet' a 'conquered people' whilst we were still
campaigning for our freedom, we were merely 'occupied' by an alien regime.
COFIWN organised protests at every castle event that was held by the 'Welsh
Tourism Board' that year and picketed Welsh Tourist Centres in many towns in
Cymru. 500 patriots turned up at a protest rally in Caernarfon in the Summer of
1983 and despite a heavy police presence, the 500 charged the castle and put it
under siege for the whole day with tourists locked in.
Only last year,
Economy Secretary Ken Skates, another "grovelling Taff", had 'gaffed'
when he and CADW (Capture And Destroy Wales) "sham" Assembly in house
'Heritage body' proposed to spend
£395,000 of tax payers money on a sculpture of a 'a ring of steel' designed to be 'plonked' outside Flint Castle!
Had it gone ahead, this, of course, would have been another 'imposed' insult
symbolising the oppression of the Cymry. Thankfully, the moronic idea was
'squashed' after 7,000 people had signed a petition against it.
Well, another
petition against this latest insult was set up on the web yesterday and, in one
day, over 10,000 had signed it - which illustrates that there is a very strong
opposition to it -despite Alun Cairns's 'smug' comment to the media that only
'republicans' would oppose the 'decision'!
Are we going to
'really' show Alun Cairns, the English
State and Crown and our
"sham" Assembly in Bae Caerdydd how angry and opposed we are? Are we
going to show them that we are not as 'dense and servile' as they take us for
and that we will not put up with any more of their 'hoodwinking' insults and
that we are still fighting to rid our nation from their chains? WE HAVE PROVED
THAT WE CAN DO IT - AS RECENTLY AS LAST YEAR IN THE BATTLE
OF FLINT!
As aforementioned,
10,000 people had signed the petition against this latest 'insult' by 10pm last
night (not looked at the increase in figures yet this morning) Now, does this
10,000 and more, feel strong enough about this to join us in an 'united front'
to show the world that we are 'fed up' of being treated with such contempt in
our own nation? Will this 10,000 join us in the 'suggested' protest for May
28th (Glyndŵr's birthday) I, surely, do
not need to point out that if we are to have a 'mass show of defiance' we will
need to unite as one body for this one. We may have differences in priorities
as groups but history has surely taught us that only by uniting as one body can
we defeat an enemy such as the one we MUST face if we are to 'really' show that
we will not stand for this latest 'insult'.
It was also
revealed yesterday that the "Sham" Assembly has known about the
decision since last year and that the 'Welsh Government" had sanctioned
it. Questions need to be asked, whose decision was it to keep it 'hush hush'
from the Cymric electorate? And, if the whole of the 'Welsh Government' had
sanctioned it then, the Plaid Cymru members must have known about it? This
needs to be clarified quickly so, please everyone, write to Elen Jones
demanding an honest reply? It's very hypocritical of Leanne Woods to make a
flippant comment to the press yesterday in form of a query about this being a
late April fool's joke if the party was already well aware of it! Answers
please!

Note: May 28th has
been suggested as the date to ‘make this stand’ as its the recognised date for
Tywysog Owain Glyndŵr's birthday so,
we are calling for this change of name of the Severn Bridge to be made as a
birthday recognition to our one and true Warrior Prince rather than have it
'given' as a birthday gift to the 'pretender'. May 28th is also a bank holiday
and we need to have this mass protest prior to Carlo's visit to officially
unveil his proposed ‘gift’ in the summer.
